The mystery of trading mind
The manual sides of trading (not robot)
Just for thoughts
Hundreds of sim trading is not like one real trading.
Dont get me wrong..newbie needs hundreds of sim tradings.
But once we get one RELIABLE idea, it need to be tested with real trading.
But if real trading is ended with failure, does it make that idea is wrong ?
Nope. Becos it ALSO depends the state of trader's mind.
AND ,state of mind can be influenced by (charts) environments.
I found that my additional sma has changed my original idea in live market yesterday.
The origimnal idea will show the money yesterday, but it ended with failure becoz of 1 additional sma that not synhcro with my trading idea
So now I deleted that sma.
Same idea and same charts now... but now I will look for..
a) horizontal location of T8,
b) look for the 'close out' location
c) by using ema T8....dont look for pullback, look for current trend action.
Just for thoughts

NQ drop as expected..
Decided to use my robot only during fast market.
I sim my chart reading skills, seem to be competitive in SIM.
So I hv 2 methods, to be used depending market conditions.
I have to trust my methods in real mkt.
Probably live from Monday to Thursday and Sim on Friday.

So near yet so far
Marks on charts had showing that a trade is near, possibly a long
But decided to off pc due to sleepiness ..and put a closed mark on chart.
Open it in the morning, if i gave extra 5 minutes yesterday then i could double my account in one trade. Not losing the lesson, I know the signs and will put the autotrade next time

Testing SIM one little idea
One old trader saying, "let winners run" seems not doing well in current environment
I intrepreted that by setting a far dream target and when it not achieved, manually changed it. In practical, I'm frozen - because I want to be objective and hands off the action.
So the results were near always negative.
It takes me a longest time to accept that fact.
How can I know which one is the winner ?
Another old saying is "get it and run"
I set a realistic target price.
Result ,,won 2 sims.
This is I called "Target settings".
By using semi auto trader, my brain has extra RAM to think about this..
So after a brief thinking... I think 'target' is more important than a stop loss. Both are exit/END orders, Right ?
The diff....Target will give u profit, stop loss will you give a stop..uhh... LOSS
I think I will begin with the END in mind.

Khai Bahar - Luluh ( Shattered ..in English)
This Malay song is quite resonates well with my past life ..Currently popular in Malaysia...
I have been afflicted by chronic headache while I was studying in University in 1984/5, till today..thankfully now quite manageable..
The problem with headache is it is invisible and the University specialist told me that I'm a liar....Imagine answering tough examination whilst your head exploding...So I decided to quit like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs...Some moons later,,, I fell in 1st love with a damn sweet girl...then lost her... betrayed by my own trusted distant relative...After that, my life is in series of mishaps...my eldest brother jailed, my youngest sister died young, followed by the death of my old father , brought along with him his feeling of frustation with me not completing my medical degree. I got work as a clerk and I managed to pay back all my loans related to my study..every single cents.
(Currently my old mother is suffering from dementia and ailments that every old people supposed to have)
Even in pain everyday, I decided to marry in 1997 with other girl with the same name... as I belief the pain in my head and in my heart will slowly go away, healed by time....
Difficulties are quite norm with me...no wonder I keep on 'trying' trading that I started since 2009.
May Allah grant me, his forgiveness.
Sorry for telling you all my past, sad stories. This sad song triggered my emotion..Emotion of a nearly old man :)

Error detected in auto trader
I took a live trade with the auto trader.
Not yet familiar with its querckiness.
From now on will only take the signasl and trade LIVE via manual DOM
Auto trader will be take the SIM trade till it do the right thing.
Ha ha ha..

Commissioned a programmer to build custom study
Yesterday I commisioned a programmer to build a custom study.
This study is probably 1800th set up that I created and used since I started trading since 2009.
After I used it within a week, I felt confident enough to further programming it for entry decision.
Something that never crossed my mind.
The good thing is after Q&A with the programmer, I have clearer picture of what I expect from this custom study and it strength and weakness.
On my part of weakness, I usually 2nd guess my entry, so this custom study will focus more on entry.

To be fair to my system..
My system is okay..
But I failed to check the correct "environment".
I'm human and old age probably magnified my human side.
Today I emailed one programmer to code my system
So I will have semi -auto trading system
The system will enter, I will exit thru simple bracket DOM.
The system will be the sniper, I will be the platoon that protect the sniper.
My brain capacity to think will be preserved and that will help me to focus on defense, stop loss while my semi auto system will do the offense.
A long journey has begin with a singlestep send click.

65% and I thought i Passed Win Lose ratio SIM test
my SIm xperiment is over and i feel that I could trade live NQ after this.
4 years trading CL on off was differentt compared with NQ
Yeah I have another 7 rounds of SIM ..but I bored to do SIM...I prefer live trading
My win/lose ratio is 65% with the current set up.
In prevous posting my pass mark is 60%. Thats the 1st key
2nd key to win this crazy trading game is to consistently apply the trading rules .
And I managed to follow the rules via some indicators with price actions.
Price actions alone is difficult for me..becoz intrepretation of situations differs...
So how to trade if the intrepretations/situations keep changing/confusing my judgment ??
So in my trading mind ---
""The indicators are the the rules and price actions is the trigger""
The 3rd key is the bottom line -the cold DOLLARs you may asked..
Well I dunno how to answer that becoz that is the market's job...
I hope I can get the financial freedom through 2 keys and let the 3rd keys hold by the crazy mkt
