Took a weak signal in the compression zone, and my position is compressed -11 ticks.
Plenty of better places later but already close pc.
Its all in the mind.
Hunting mind to be developed, not foot soldiers.

+7 ticks , 2 trades

CL change its rhythm and need differnt magnifying glass.
Too late to realize it when the move has done.
Managed to catch the tail of the ranbow

3 ticks again, 1 trade.

Simple breakout was ignored as I was expecting a pullback that never happen.

Expecting pullback as market was slow prior to opening. This is an easy trade if it happen at opening.

Quite often CL made early move like this and I never took these "early" lessons  -countless times.

In case of breakout like this, next time I will use stop order entry, not market order as usual...

PRE: Current mkt between hi lo  so expeting choppy market..
POSTl : Mkt quite trending during opening, turning long from SR (that not detected earlier).
Mkt then went lomg, and choppy after wards

pS. chart after close PC> more upwards..
therefore ..the assumption if higher than Phigh..trend higher..is truE after all..

New tactic tested : Double candle over (DCO)

missed entry

focus out due to  important phone call during open.

this is inside previous day - so its choppy as expected.
I looked at big frame after opening AND KEEP that big frame that could create confusion...
chart selection should change to small frame after 15 minutes of opening...
if I picked the small frame - entry must be entered after 2 candle without waiting for confirmation
becoz if wait for confirmation the opportunity akready gone in this choppy mkt.

so the standard operating procedure is
1) looked at prvious day hi lo - inside or outside to gauge which better chart frame
2) preopening till 15 min - looked at big frame chart to look for potential trending move.
3) if no trend detected, switch to small frame  -to play hit and run, without 3rd candle confirmation

Chop fest

Strong urge to join the party successfully avoided.

As I'm i no mood to join the bloodbath....

I will avoid Wednesday too. :)

Missed 3 trades and the 4th real chance gave peanuts as above.

Sitting tight with small pocket proved to be difficult for me at this stage

CL moved early, as early as 6.30am !..I hated when that happen as I know it meant that today's opportunity is as good as gone already..and I hated it further when it prove me correct.....What left was tricky precision move that hard to be detected at 8am..then choppy session even though volume was high..One the reason was CL has dropped to an abyss that has no real support at the bottom - so I GUESSED it want to find firm footing first.

ps. OMG CL can read my mind...when I was typing the prev para I heard my audio alert but I ignored it...then I saw the chart show a perfect entry..

lesson: If you're a trader, don't give up your hope in the market,  you need to LOVE IT....and... if the market moved early ..I need to wait till 10.35am before close shop ;)

Not my type

After a run yesterday, today market more suitable to "ping pong players". Traders volume shrunked and at 9.24  I decided to close the pc earlier.

Wed/Thu should be a good trend day even though has EIA rep

Market building a trend, but still wimpy today.

p.s missed that horiz SR line near that unperfect setup. Aided by hor SR, this should be solid setup after green candle closed.
