Indys

After done several live trades, NQ behaviour is different than CL, of course...
I have to put again 2 indicators on my NQ chart -- DMI and stochastic.
There are no sins using indicators I supposed...
Simply becoz I want to trade like a robot, and no emotion, judgement, whatever (laugh, pls)

However, these indys also not accurate, becoz actually the trading is in price.
So I will put a line in chart price...
My objective  is to trade REPEATABLE PATTERNs when
DMI=SMI=PRICELINE (so 3 filters are in)

Once repeatable patterns achieve 60/40 right/wrong  % ratio, and ROR is 2x return/1x risk..
I will trade live again...

Got a potential grip

After about 45 days simming and observing NQ, it seems I can got a grip on it.
NQ have one trait that consistent, dominant behaviour and I start from that dominant behaviour.
THis will make it easier   more potential to trade than CL.
Next month comes the holy fasting month for MUslims - the Ramadhan

The difference in trading live and sim is this..
when lose in sim , i will continue the same techn to get the stats
when lose in real live trade, i will change the technique...

I had to admit that I'm gambling strategically

After near 6 years of trading I have to loose it a bit.
As the loses and profits sporadically recorded, I have to admit that I'm gambling - based strictly on results.
If based on my planning - this is not gambling, this is trading.

Shorted but use joint limit order that not filled up.
Correct direction.
Next time for quick setup like this I will use market order (MO)
For second setup that the slower type I will use  Joint Bid order (BO) 

Turn on Live Mode on NQ

Adjusting mind to a possible live trade NQ
Tweaking charts to suits live trade environment.
And now, wait for live entries

Reasons for Ditching CL

1) Tight play range compared to past 3 years
2) False breaks becoming more common
3) Season changing - Active hours 9am behaving like inactive hours
4) Inconsistent market behaviour that require multi changes to strategy used.
5) Could be unforgiven for small mistakes
6) Becoming irrational and random that made university professors proud of themeselves ;)
7) Its time for "*moving forward"
8) Its becoming more political play.... and politic can ruin business

SIMming NQ

I decided to ditch CL at the moment and trying sim on NQ and ES.
I found NQ brings more stable result than ES.

Office politics

In my office yesterday, the bozzes are promoted to bigger positions - Directors.
In my memory, they have been upgraded a year ago. - Group GM
And 2 years before that, their grades also promoted- GM
And During the last time I'm promoted as junior level mgmt M 6 years ago, they already promoted to a senior levels substantially - SM
Somebody just have their lucks, even though their departments got losses year after year - market share and money. Its all recorded in proper reports. Somebody dont read reports. or worse, didnt work
and pass all responsiblities to others to freeing their time golfing

Thats why I like trading.
in trading, if I dont follow the rules - I will lose
in trading, if i follow the wrong rules - I will lose
in trading, if i didnt work - I will lose

In all craziness of CL market esc on Wednesday EIA , it still reasonable most of the time and even accurate to a tick!
Its a mad world out there, and many mad politicians.
